English I watched the sequel to The Babysitter only a few moments after the first one, which had its advantages and disadvantages. I didn't have to remind myself of the plot and I noticed many references to the previous part - which is where the disadvantages lay: not only is it a murder-mystery, it is also a total rip-off of the first one, which only pushes the plot into more absurdity and in many places goes against the logic of its predecessor. Jenna Ortega was fine, but her presence didn't help, while Emily Alyn Lind was downright cringeworthy. The very end of the film was just the bitter icing on this bizarre bloody cake. ()

English It's actually exactly what I expected it to be, which is certainly not a criticism. Bigger, more witty and bloodier (or more marmalade - lemonade - geyser), slightly sexier and, in the end, rather surprisingly, but at the same time logically, it has a point. If you liked the first episode, you'll be satisfied, if you didn't, then I suppose you won't watch this one. And if you do, then good for you. ()

English The sequel to The Babysitter lacks any logic but it was probably necessary to play a little with the screenplay so that the second movie would make at least some sense. But again, it is a lot of fun even though the firmly set pattern repeats itself. Even the director realized that this kind of movie requires more musical numbers than it had in the first movie. But it is a pity that before there is at least some action, the movie is really boring. But it is still sufficient as a chill-out movie. Nevertheless, compared to the first movie it is just half way there. ()

English For every great idea there are three illogical misfires that completely miss the mark; for a few good-hearted jokes, you have to endure a substantial batch of completely off base (the parents) or repeated "sound bites" (also the parents). In short, a sequel that rushes forward at an even more frantic pace than the original and does so with unexpected twists – only to deny key characters any development while creating it, but surprisingly even the end of the first installment as part of creating the premise. It is incredibly frustrating to see how the main character's family, friends, and the authorities urge him to be normal, even though the things they are talking about have clearly happened. The Babysitter: Killer Queen has humor in it, with an incredibly likable cast of actors, and Jenna Ortega shines in it. However, there were so many blows to the face of logic that the door to a sequel simply has to remain closed. ()

English A sequel that no one really expected, making the trailer on Netflix come as a complete surprise. The first film could be categorized as a fun, digestible treat—entertaining, though not record-breaking or award-worthy, but still enjoyable. The second film follows a similar spirit. The main character has grown so much over the three years that I’d have a hard time recognizing him in a few shots (if I didn’t know he was reprising his role). It was nice to see the return of the familiar killers, with Robbie Amell being my favorite among them; his half-naked character always got me with his well-timed jokes. The new character played by Jenna Ortega was quite likable, a real bullseye. The gore is once again satisfying, with no restraint on blood, but remember, this isn’t a horror film; it’s an over-the-top spectacle with no boundaries. The ending was pleasing and clarified some aspects from the first film, tying up many loose ends. I give it 65%. ()
