Ilsa, the Tigress of Siberia

The third installment in the series with Ilsa, Ilsa the Tigress of Siberia, doesn't surprise much, except perhaps in that it changes locations more often. Ilsa is sexy if you're into dominant women with large breasts, which personally doesn't bother me, but otherwise, there's surprisingly little exploitation and explicitness. In this regard, the third installment is rather disappointing, and one can only hope that with Greta, it will be somewhat better. (07/16/2014)

In filmmaking terms, this sequel is more professional than its predecessor (Ilsa, She Wolf of the SS) and it has a better screenplay, which contains one unexpected twist at roughly the midpoint of the film and the relocation of the whole plot to a new setting, as well as a surprisingly good, open-ended conclusion. But judging Ilsa, the Tigress of Siberia as a standalone film independently of the franchise, it’s just more bullshit. Very bloody bullshit with lots of nudity. (04/05/2003)
