Luck

It's been a while since I watched an animated film, but I was in the mood, and this one hit the spot. At first, I wondered why someone would create an animated story that could easily be done in live-action. But about fifteen minutes in, it became clear that the creators' imagination was the real star here. The story reminded me a lot of another animated film, Inside Out, though I'm not entirely sure why. The animation was beautiful and distinctive, with witty dialogue and excellent voice acting. Simon Pegg's performance in particular was fantastic. (03/17/2023)
