The Amityville Curse is just another example of how a series can be approached, i.e., by piling up various films that have no continuity and don't even attempt to scare the viewer. In this story surrounding the Amityville house, there was potential, but every director and screenwriter decided to approach it in their own way, creating this strange mosaic of disjointed and mostly, unfortunately, low-quality films.
