Maria, Pinuccia, Lia, Katia, Antonella. The childhood, adulthood and old age of five sisters born and raised in an apartment on the top floor of a small block in the suburbs of Palermo, where they live alone, without their parents. A home that bears the marks of the time that passes, as do those who have grown up in it and still live there. The story of five women, of a family, of who goes, who remains and who resists. Ugh, I almost forgot about this pigeon poop on the windowsill. The worst Italian schlock, extortion, tastelessness, overkill, and an utterly cretinous coffin ride scene that I have privately listed as a 2020 discharge. ()
Do you know that feeling when someone next to you is chewing loudly and you have a hundred desires to slap them so hard that they take the ground? Well, that's the case with this movie. In addition, the Italian stereotype here has gone to such an extreme that the story of the Macaluso sisters has become the exorcism of the Macaluso sisters. ()
