I was hoping that since it was about Daryl, it would finally be a watchable resurrection of the entire franchise, led by the best character of the original The Walking Dead. Even the initial reviews suggested that it would finally be a blast, but sadly that's not the case and this is just another useless, generic and unentertaining addition to the franchise. The zombies are still just as dull, the bad guys are still just as uninteresting and bland, and the story with the nuns, the wannabe enlightened boy, and Daryl being chased over and over again by uninteresting bad guys is just a dud. Zero story progression, zero fun, zero concern for the characters and zero body-count. Why they're making this, why they're giving fans this crap to fans of The Walking Dead and why they're playing at something more, I really don't understand. Disappointing.
