Juli cannot return from Moscow in October 1956. At home János takes an active part in the events. Magdas comrades flee, leaving her behind. Juli comes home on November the 4th and understands clearly that it was not a counter-revolution. She wants to record everything. Jánoss life is in danger, so he flees to Austria with András and Juli, but returns again with her. They celebrate a wonderful popular front New Years Eve with the family and friends, but then arrests, trials and executions begin. János is sentenced to death. When Juli, Ildi and the little boy go to find the unmarked grave in parcel no. 301, policemen hurt the little boy. (official distributor synopsis)
