English Far more of a romantic drama with a point about the importance of living life and wasting time than an entertaining comedy, but thanks to the original idea, the film is quite engaging within its limitations. The cards are dealt from the beginning, the twist is clearly laid out and the ending is predictable, but the film is sensitive, brisk, emotionally functioning towards the end and somehow works as a one-off. English A likeable romantic comedy that playfully uses the trendy theme of the time loop and slightly varies it. The main here character does not repeat a day, but each day for him means a year has passed, which is quite original and unconventional, and the whole film builds on it and benefits from it. Every day the main character explores what has changed in the last year and it's funny and at times emotionally sad. The actors are likeable, the idea is great, the emotion and wit works, the dialogue is top notch. A very feel good genre film. 7.5/10 ()
