The Shrink Next Door

A solid entry from Apple TV's lineup. The Shrink Next Door features two standout performances from actors you might not expect: Paul Rudd as the therapist and Will Ferrell as a kind-hearted Jewish businessman. Both take on more serious roles, deviating from their usual comedic personas. The story itself is almost unbelievable, and while the direction is somewhat conventional, it doesn’t matter because you’ll be hooked from start to finish. This is one of those tales that could only be written by life itself. Paul Rudd and especially Will Ferrell deliver some of the best performances of their careers, which says it all. (01/18/2022)
