English I don't appreciate Barbra Streisand either as an actress or as a singer, and she doesn't impress me as a woman, although during the filming of Funny Girl, she had a certain kind of charm that couldn't be denied. Her exaggerated acting and temperament, on which Funny Girl relies, simply don't suit me. Nevertheless, I can't deny her talent and I won't give her less than 3 stars. Overall impression: 55%. ()

English A spectacular musical mixed with a touch of drama, romance and comedy, in which the amazing Barbra Streisand (Oscar deserved!) shines as the brightest star, dazzling both with her singing and acting. Well thought out and well choreographed dance scenes as well as beautiful and listenable songs and lyrics. In the first half of the film I was sure I'd give it a full score, but as I wasn't so impressed by the second half (shame!) I'll give it a lovely and solid 4*. Still, it's a film that I definitely didn't waste my time with and I happened to have a great time, mostly thanks to Barbra. ()

English She's truly an entertaining girl, but in a strangely tragic way, which is especially evident at the end, where Barbara Streisand showcases her mastery fully and quite logically reaches out for the Oscar she received. It was well deserved for me. She's captivating, funny, emotional, just everything. Plus, her role is interesting. ()
