Lovelorn Charlie bothers various couples in the park. When Chester steals a watch from a man sleeping on a bench to impress his girl, Charlie lifts it from him and presents it to the girl himself. When confronted by the irate Chester a chase ensues with Charlie, the girl and a policeman. Charlie, having shaken them off, makes the mistake of trying to sell the original owner his own watch and the chase resumes, with everyone ending up in the lake. (official distributor synopsis)
