A man and a woman meet on an empty beach. Will they be able to start a relationship or have they been through too much? This minimalistic etude for two actors, awarded in Venice and at Expo in Brussels in 1958, says a lot about the post-war generation. It was a directorial debut by Tadeusz Konwicki who is better known as a writer. (Summer Film School)
