Plots(1)
The show's season is loaded with hook-ups, break-ups and the return of Slapsgiving - not to mention the hottest guest stars imaginable, including Jennifer Lopez, Carrie Underwood, Amanda Peet and Rachel Bilson. On the dating front, Barney and Robin take their relationship to the next level - before calling it off- and Ted meets the roommate of his future wife in this uproarious, modern-day love story told in reverse. I only really enjoyed 3 out of the 24 episodes. The rest of them needed spicing up. The main reasons? The little monster, no new development in Ted’s life, a lot of wasted potential with Barney, and an uninteresting, boring or pointless plot in most episodes. Yes, sometimes it was a combination of all of the above, I’m afraid. / Lesson learned: If you don’t get your hopes up, you won’t have them crushed either. ()
