The opening of the first episode of season three felt like an ISIS invasion, but the plot quickly settled back into its familiar, enjoyable rhythm. Sheldon is still aiming for the Nobel Prize, Leonard is pining for Penny, Howard is after any woman he can find, and Raj is basking in memories. The creators did a great job kicking off the new season, and I was thoroughly satisfied.
