This Slovak-Czech tragicomedy makes overtures to the tradition of poetic Slovak films. Shot in a garden during the fall, the story centers on three lonely women of different generations living together in one house. Their lives are marked by love's joys and disappointments, and during the course of the action various men enter and retreat. The movie is framed by lyrical visions of a stork in flight.
