Friends Kelly (Kristina Klebe, Halloween) and Lucy (Natalie Burn, The Expendables 3) travel into the depths of Montenegro to visit an old friend. While there, they decide to explore an abandoned military fortress located on a remote island. As the summer sun quickly sets, the dark mystery of the night envelopes the girls as they realise they are not alone. There are secrets which must be protected and an evil darkness hidden beneath the island. No. Nonono. I’m overall willing to be magnanimous with horror films that take place both underground and in locations in Southern Europe (here, specifically, in the Bay of Kotor, in Montenegro) because I have a soft spot for them, but this one was a big, cheap (and not budget-wise), unoriginal pile of crap. Ignore.

Considering the fact that the film comes from such an exotic country and has a really sexy female cast I'd give it 4*, otherwise it's a slightly above average monster/survival flick with pretty decent gore, a tantalizing mermaid whose voice gave me goosebumps and a decent pace. Whether you're a nympho or not, it's worth it. 65%.
