THE MAN WHO MADE THE WORLD LAUGH
Louis de Funes not only kept France laughing during his 40-year career but his fan base continues to exist today and all over the world.
As only a great comedian can, Louis de Funes had the talent to make people laugh about the serious or the tragic of human life, and even turn those subjects into comedy classics.
He dealt with racism and the Israeli-Palestinian conflict in "The Mad Adventures of Rabbi Jacob"; France under occupation in "The Great Stroll,"; law and morality in "The Policemen from Saint-Tropez", and the end of life in "Cabbage Soup".
Known as "The man with 40 faces a minute", Louis de Funes is remembered in this documentary by his collaborators, his family and especially by those comedians, among the most successful today, who were inspired by him to go into comedy.
"Louis de Funes Forever" is the engaging portrait of a multi-talented man whose only wish was: "To make adults laugh as much as children."
