Compared to the first part, the rest of Faces of Death II is quite boring, or rather it lacks a clearer structure. It's simply a series of unpleasant and cruel scenes that can have an impact on their own, but there's a significant similarity to the first film. It does have an effect; I still don't think it was just about controversy, but if the video sequence could be watched without commentary on YouTube - which wasn't possible back then, of course - it probably would have had the same impact. Disgusting, but not exceptional.
