English If you enjoyed the first two seasons, you'll likely be satisfied with Season 3 as well. It doesn't bring anything drastically new to the table. The main character is still grappling with depression, COVID looms in the background, there are a few new characters who are pretty likable, and the series wraps up in a way that doesn't really take any big swings, which is a bit of a shame but still okay. The humor and the cozy vibe of the English small town, which are the show's biggest strengths, remain intact, so you can easily forgive its shortcomings. Honestly, I wouldn't mind a fourth season. English Depressing Tony has returned to the scene for the third time, and despite my great concerns, it was another success. After the second season, I was expecting it to be much less funny (hence the concerns), but although the third season by no means reached the quality of the first, I have no reason to tear it apart in any way. Surprisingly, I could tune in to the more serious tones in the end and quite enjoyed it. / Lesson learned: Yeah, life is still a bitch. ()

English So, I’ve finally finished this TV trilogy! I have to say that Ricky Gervais has created something that will resonate with me for a long time. Stories about ordinary people set in a rural English town might not sound very enticing at first, but the perfect blend of genres and the outstanding performance by the lead, Tony, convinced me that I’ve struck gold here! The third season continues in the same vein as the previous two, mixing scenes full of joy and incredibly funny situations with moments that emotionally tore me to pieces. The final episode, in particular, was so moving that not a single eye stayed dry. And although it might not be to everyone’s taste, which I completely understand, the creators wrapped up this project in the best way possible. Thank you so much, Ricky! I’m sure I’ll return to After Life at some point in the future :) For me, the third season gets 9/10. ()
